Lightweight, consistent, and accurate. Super Alloy Racing (SAR) springs are the lightest and highest quality springs available for MTB rear shocks.
First and foremost, the spring is responsible for supporting your weight, achieving the correct sag which in turn sits the bike into the ideal part of the leverage ratio curve. Having the correct spring rate is critical for a number of parameters such as pedalling, ground tracking and geometry. If the sag is too much or too little, then the rear suspension travel that will produce inconsistent and unwanted characteristics.
Available in 25lb increments, and dyno tested for accuracy, Super Alloy Racing springs help to maximise suspension damping performance as well as reducing weight and increasing traction and sensitivity.

Super Alloy Racing is the brainchild of the legendary Dave Garland, who created SAR in the quest for a lighter, more fatigue resistant, and more accurate alternative to titanium springs. Manufactured by Eibach in Germany, the SAR V3 springs are made from Silicone Chrome Vanadium steel, and receive a black KTL coating for unsurpassed corrosion resistance.
GUARANTEED ACCURACY
Available in 25lb increments, all of our SAR springs are dyno tested before shipping, and are certified to be accurate to 1.5% – 3% of their marked spring rate. Every SAR spring includes a dyno graph print-out. For comparison, it’s not uncommon for other brands of spring to be as inaccurate as +/- 8%.
POM SPACERS
SAR springs are designed to be as short as possible while maintaining the stroke length required. This reduces weight and allows the use of POM spacers to adapt one spring to any brand of shock on the market. The POM spacers also prevent spring binding, unlocking the best small-bump sensitivity possible from your shock. Please note: spacers are sold separately.

Will this spring fit on my shock?
SAR springs use POM adapters to be compatible with all brands of shock.
The Enduro spring (<65mm stroke) will suit shocks with an eye to eye length of:
230mm: All compatible (compatible with both Enduro and DH springs)
210mm: All compatible
205mm (trunnion): All compatible (compatible with both Enduro and DH springs)
185mm (trunnion): Depending on shock model. Only some spring rates are compatible. Please contact us for fitment information.
How much preload should I run?
SAR Springs are designed to be run with almost zero preload (approx 0.5-1mm). Adjust your preload ring until there is no excess movement in the spring.
