Up to 40% lighter than a steel spring, this hardened Super-light steel (SLS) spring has been designed to fit most rear shocks on the market by using Nukeproof’s unique reducers and spacers.
The Nukeproof Superlight “Enduro” Spring suits a stroke length of 47.5mm – 65mm (2.25″ – 2.5″). This relates to shocks with an eye to eye length from 210mm (185mm Trunnion) to 230mm (205mm Trunnion).
The Nukeproof Superlight “DH” Spring suits a stroke length of 60mm – 76mm (2.5″ – 3.0″).
Natively this spring has an ID of 38mm to suit Rockshox shocks. A pair of 38mm to 36mm reducers are included to allow this spring to be fitted to most shocks on the market, including Fox, Cane Creek, DVO, Ohlins, and more.
To maximise weight savings, these springs are made as short as possible while still maintaining the stroke length required. Depending on your shock length and spring weight, you may need to use a supplied POM (Polyacetal) spacer. We supply the correct POM spacers in the box to suit the rate of spring which you purchase. As spring lengths vary with spring rate, your spring may not need and may not include all of the spacers pictured.
