The Rail+ 9.8 is a carbon enduro e-MTB made for chasing after distant peaks and hammering out laps. It starts out with a hard-hitting OCLV Mountain Carbon frame that partners with 160 mm of front and rear travel from a Fox Performance Elite suspension package to eat up deep roots and chunky rock lines. A 12-speed wireless SRAM GX Eagle transmission keeps shifting smooth, even under serious load, while SRAM Maven Bronze 4-piston brakes provide the stopping power you need. It’s finished off with a Bontrager Line dropper post and Bontrager Line Comp 30 tubeless-ready wheels for charging into anything.
Size Small Wheel Size: Small size runs 27.5 wheels front and rear. Specs are exactly the same, just with a 27.5 front wheel.
Bosch Performance Line CX motor: 100Nm upgrade ready – Bosch Performance Line CX sets the standard for eMTB performance with 85Nm of torque out of the box, but can be tuned all the way up to 100Nm and 750W of power using the Bosch eBike Flow app. The Bosch smart system also has intelligent eMTB mode with Extended Boost that automatically adjusts the amount of assist based on the terrain.
New RIB 2.0: Removable Integrated Battery (RIB 2.0) makes it easy to remove your battery for more convenient charging or travelling, and you don’t have to worry about dropping it thanks to a secondary safety catch.
Bosch Mini Remote: The compact, ergonomic Mini Remote lets you easily change assist level, activate Walk mode, or turn on optional lights, all without moving your hand off the handlebar. Plus, it’s wireless and connects with your System Controller via Bluetooth
Mixed wheel size :You get a 29″ front wheel for monster truckin’ over stuff, with a smaller 27.5 wheel out back for getting rowdy.
Adjust the suss for full send: Adjust the leverage rate with just a flip of a chip. Ride it in the Less progressive setting for a plusher feel, perfect for rugged trails with square-edge bumps. Flip it to More progressive when you’re hitting big features and don’t want to bottom-out, or when you want to run a coil shock.
Bosch System Controller: The System Controller gives you a quick overview of your assist mode and battery level without distracting you from the ride. It’s integrated into the top tube so it’s out of the way but still easy to see with LED indicators. It also connects to the eBike Flow app via Bluetooth for accessing ride stats and performing system updates.
Active Braking Pivot: Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.
Bosch eBike Flow app: The new eBike Flow app turns your ride into a personalised experience. Use it to customise your motor’s assist behaviour, track your ride stats and integrate your data with apps like Strava and Apple Health. There’s even handy features like navigation and service reminders.
