The Motive Bronze has an alloy lever with bushing pivot and a Blasted Black anodized finish. It runs exclusively on Maxima Mineral Oil, delivering long-lasting performance, excellent heat management, and easier disposal.
Motive Bronze also includes SRAM’s Bleeding Edge™ caliper port for clean, drip-free maintenance and is compatible only with the SRAM Mineral Oil Bleed Kit.
How Motive Ultimate, Silver, and Bronze Compare
All Motive brakes share the same powerful caliper design, tool-free reach adjust, MMX compatibility, and use SRAM Large brake pads—but each model brings its own mix of materials and features. Motive Ultimate is the top-tier option, featuring titanium hardware, a carbon lever blade, a lever pivot bearing, and an adjustable banjo fitting on the caliper. Motive Silver uses an alloy lever blade with a pivot bearing and retains the adjustable banjo. Motive Bronze simplifies the system with an alloy lever blade, a bushing pivot, and a hose compression fitting instead of a banjo.
