DT Swiss Classic Nipple Wrenches are designed for a precise fit with with traditional square or DT Spline Drive (Torx) nipples. The wide flat profile offers optimal grip to ensure maximum leverage when twisting spoke nipples.
Note: DT Spline drive nipples are different than DT Squorx nipples. Squorx nipples use standard Square Drive (Red handle) classic wrench for external truing, or T-Handle model S05630S for back side rim truing.
Technical Information:
- Square Drive (red handle) model R05664S grips four sides of traditional external nipple flats preventing damage or rounding off the edges. Sized for 0.127″ (3.23mm) nipples.
- Spline (Torx) Drive (black handle) model S05665S used for DT SPLINE DRIVE Wheels only! NOT COMPATIBLE with SQUORX nipples which have 4-sided external flats. Use Red handle square drive for Squorx nipples
- Use with DT Swiss Bladed Spoke Holders for building or truing Aero spokes.
- Square Drive compatible with Wheelbuilder High Strength Aluminum nipples.
