The RD-M8200 is Shimano’s most capable Deore XT mechanical rear derailleur yet, built for all disciplines. The low-profile wedge design reduces trail impacts, and an internal spring absorbs hits from rocks and roots, returning the derailleur to position. The Long Cage version has a 510% gear range and covers everything from enduro racing to all-day rides. The Medium Cage (GS) has a 500% gear range, making it an ideal choice for both weight-conscious racers and everyday riders.
