The Shimano Deore M7200 Complete Upgrade Kit includes the M7200 derailleur and cassette and CN-M7100 chain. As there is no M7200 shifter, this kit includes the Deore level SL-M6200 shifter, everything needed to build or upgrade a capable mechanical drivetrain.
The Deore M7200 derailleur brings XT M8200 technology to a durable long-cage platform, with a steel pulley cage, a reinforced chassis, and a wedge-shaped body built to handle trail impacts. The M7200 cassette pairs micro spline compatibility and optimized tooth profiles with a 10-51t range for smooth, versatile gearing across any terrain, and the SL-M6200 shifter delivers XT-level feel with a shorter stroke and refined release for precise, natural-feeling shifts.

The Shimano Deore M7200 Complete Upgrade Kit is 100% backwards compatible with your current Shimano 12-Speed cassette, crankset/chainring, and chain. Compatible models include: XTR M9100 and M9200, Deore XT M8100, M8200, SLX M7100, and Deore M6100, M6200 and M7200.
This kit will attach to modern framesets via a derailleur hanger, including the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH).
Long cage derailleurs are compatible with 51t cassettes.
