The SL-M6200 shifter borrows XT technology for a shorter stroke, refined release, and precise, natural-feeling shifts. The 10-51t cassette spans a 510% gear range, and the M6200 crankset rounds out the package with the same near-XT durability that defines the series, all at a significantly more accessible price point than Shimano’s premium tiers.

The Shimano Deore M6200 Drivetrain is 100% backwards compatible with your current Shimano 12-Speed cassette, crankset/chainring, and chain. Compatible models include: XTR M9100 and M9200, Deore XT M8100, M8200, SLX M7100, and Deore M6100, M6200 and M7200.
This kit will attach to modern framesets via a derailleur hanger, including the Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH).
Long cage derailleurs are compatible with 51t cassettes.
